Product Description
The 587523/A Reservoir is the “screw-in” type fluid container. It is designed to maintain a consistent supply of brake fluid to the master cylinder, preventing air from entering the lines which would otherwise cause a “spongy” brake feel.
Made from semi-transparent, high-density polymer, it allows riders to quickly check the fluid level without opening the cap. It comes as a kit, typically including the reservoir body, the internal rubber diaphragm (bellows), and the threaded cap. This part is essential if your original reservoir is cracked, leaking at the threads, or has become cloudy due to aged brake fluid.
Key Features:
-
Threaded Design: Specifically engineered to screw directly into the rear master cylinder body for a secure, leak-proof connection.
-
Integrated Diaphragm: Includes a high-quality rubber bellows that expands and contracts to keep the fluid pressurized and moisture-free.
-
UV Resistant Material: The polymer body is treated to resist yellowing and brittleness caused by sun exposure and harsh brake fluids.
-
OEM Precision: 100% original Royal Enfield part, ensuring the thread pitch and sealing surface match factory specifications exactly.
-
Easy Level Monitoring: Clear “Min” and “Max” markings for quick maintenance checks.
