Product Description
The F 002 G40 087 features a large copper core center electrode that offers superior heat conductivity compared to standard steel-core plugs. This helps prevent engine overheating and “pre-ignition” during long rides. The housing and threads are nickel-plated, which acts as a barrier against corrosion and ensures the plug won’t “seize” or get stuck in the aluminum cylinder head over time.
As part of the Super Plus range, it utilizes a factory-set electrode gap, making it a “plug-and-play” component. Its specialized insulator design with five ribs prevents “flash-over” (current leakage), ensuring that the spark always reaches the combustion chamber even in high-humidity or rainy conditions.
