Workshop Installation Tip:
Before installing your fresh components, ensure the entire caliper housing is completely stripped of old jelly-like brake fluid and white oxide corrosion inside the seal grooves using a specialized parts cleaner. Lubricate the new internal O-rings and pistons with a thin film of clean DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid before pressing them carefully into place.
